Project Manager – IT Applications

Location: Bridgewater NJ (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)

Type: Full Time/ Direct Hire

Summary

Responsible for the planning, management and delivery of multiple projects simultaneously. Hands on proactive approach to managing projects is expected - with full responsibility for all aspects of a project including executing the project within scope, schedule and budget. 

Job Requirements

• Strong Technical Project Management experience delivering IT applications and cloud-based projects
• Create and execute project Plans, Scope, SOW, Forecasting, functional specs
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
• Strong financial acumen.  Identify and call all dependencies in the project plan and budgets.
• Ability to articulate financials with stakeholders
• Regularly communicate project status and issues to the stakeholders and team
• Identify and address issues and risks on project
• Escalate any major roadblocks or risk factors as needed and work towards initiating activities to quickly resolve issues
• Responsible for the budgetary requirements for all individual project activity
• Facilitate all phases of development including definition, development, implementation, testing and launch; developing any documentation necessary to clearly communicate project requirements and parameters
• Work effectively with other departments ensuring a smooth and productive flow of work

Responsible for facilitating communication - proactively conducting project status meetings, producing project status reports, facilitating project sponsor meetings, communication plans, etc.  Close teamwork with individuals internal and external to IT will be necessary during the life of the project.

Required Skills

·       5+ years’ experience as Project Manager

• Strong experience in a technology focused project management role
• Advanced Project Management Skills (Scope Management, Timeline Management, Resource Management, Issue Tracking, Risk Management, Stakeholder Management, etc.)
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong, analysis and problem-solving skills
• Strong Vendor Management Skills
• Sound qualitative & quantitative analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Education/Experience

• 5+ years of managing projects through the end-to-end lifecycle
• Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is preferred
