We are currently looking for a person to provide direct support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a residential setting for a group home.
The ideal candidate should have experience as a caregiver or in the healthcare field and should have the ability to work independently, be flexible, patient, motivate others and exercise good judgment and make timely decisions. They must be familiar with the Microsoft office suite and have a good understanding utilizing technology to document notes.
Support is to be provided on a day-to-day basis with routine personal needs, social support, assistance in communication and physical assistance in a wide range of activities in order to reach their individual goals.
CPR/ First Aid, Medication and Therapeutic options training provided. Associates degree or equivalent.
