SmartSource is seeking 5 Project Foremen for a traveling contract to hire OR direct hire opportunity.

(hourly compensation open for discussion during screening)

(will be traveling to Albany OH - clients location)

Job Responsibilities Include:

Lead cable technician teams for:

• Low voltage structured cabling projects across a variety of platforms including data centers, banking, financial, and manufacturing/distribution environments.
• Copper Cabling - Rough-in, terminate, and test 4-pair (CAT5e-CAT6) and multi-pair cabling.
• Fiber Cabling – Rough-in, terminate, and test fiber utilizing SC/LC connectors, fusion splicing ability required.
• Circuit Extension – T1, DS3, POTs.
• Reading and executing customer specification manuals to perform installation as detailed.
• Following Architectural/Engineered drawings.
• Working knowledge of testing Copper and Fiber (MM and SM) using Fluke DTX Testing equipment.
• Leading a team on daily objectives.
• Travel: Must be willing to travel, as necessary.

Qualified applicants will have the following qualifications:

• 3-5 years structured cabling leadership experience.
• Experience in large-scale rollouts, commercial building construction, and the ability to collaborate with a General Contractor.
• Working knowledge of testing Copper and Fiber (MM and SM) using Fluke DTX Testing equipment.
• Experience working with wireless, sound masking, access control, A/V, etc.
• Customer service experience.
