Construction Project Estimator 2+ YRS exp Required

Job Purpose:  Quantity take-off estimator.

Campbell Beard Roofing, one of Denver’s longest established roofing companies, is now looking for a new team member.  The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the residential construction industry:  aptitude for estimating.  We will train the right candidate to use our estimating systems.

The Estimator has responsibility and accountability for:

·         Bidding

·         Compliance with plans and specifications

·         Follow up with customers.

A strong background is essential in:

·         Excel

·         Word

·         Microsoft Office Products

·         Ability to learn Excel based estimating software

·         Strong computer aptitude

Responsibilities Include:

·         Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, downloading prints, specifications, and all related documents.

·         Produces accurate quantity & cost estimates from construction documents using on-screen take-off software and excel spreadsheets

·         Reviews scopes of work in all associated documents, comprehends and interprets information to assemble accurate bid proposals

·         Generates Value Engineering ideas that help our clients reduce project costs without compromising quality or schedule
