MUST HAVE CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE
Seeking an experienced Business Analyst Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in continuous improvement with emphasis in construction estimating, cost control, and finance. You must have passion and experience in cost analytics and lean operations within the construction, operations and project management field.
Responsibilities:
Lead lean transformation within the estimating and operations teams
Evaluate project plans and specifications to ensure accurate cost estimates
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to improve bid process
Evaluate suppliers and subcontractors to maintain competitive pricing and service
Monitor project costs throughout the construction phases to achieve best financial results
Provide guidance on pricing strategies and value engineering opportunities
Local travel required between offices throughout Southern California
Qualification Requirement:
Proven experience in construction estimating, cost control, and finance analytics
Strong analytical and financial skills utilizing pivot tables and databases
Proven experience in lean operations and continuous improvement implementation
Excellent communication, lead change and build up estimating team
Business Intelligence tools knowledge using data visualization and analysis
Experience developing requirements and formulating business metrics within a SOP
Knowledge of contract terms and conditions to support estimating teams
Bachelor’s degree in management, statistics, finance, construction or related field
