Pharmacy Dispensing Technician

SCHEDULE Mon-Fri 3 pm-11:30 pm

$25hr-$30hr

SUMMARY:

Responsible for operating blending machinery and keeping accurate batch record documents

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Previous 1-3 years experience in a pharmaceutical or related industry. Knowledge of GMP standards. Able to read, write and speak English fluently. Excellent writing and math skills required

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ø Measure and weigh, solids, liquids, etc. based on batch cards independently as well as with a team environment. Stand/walk for most of the work shift.

Ø Perform job duties that require constant attention to manufacturing and batch record process. Periodically push/pull containers weighing up to 500 pounds and lift containers up to 50 pounds.

Ø Verify labels with batch manufacturing records

Ø Must be able to document dispensing process as per SOP

Ø Report abnormal conditions to the manager regarding equipment/product
