Qualifications:
· Registered Dietitian Required (CMS requirement)
· One year of healthcare experience is highly desirable
Responsibilities:
· Provides appropriate patient nutritional care
· Assesses the nutritional status of patients, formulates a care plan, coordinates its implementation, and evaluates its impact and effectiveness
· Provides nutrition education to patients/families
· Approves supplements as appropriate and assists in the development of a hospital formulary appropriate to the patient population
