Turner Recruiting & Consulting has several clients looking for a Licensed Insurance Agent for an office located in either Powell or Oak Ridge, TN. These are immediate openings!

THIS IS NOT A TEMP POSITION.  THIS WILL BE A DIRECT HIRE POSITION FOR THE CLIENT.   

We’re recruiting on behalf of our clients looking to grow their teams for highly sales-motivated Licensed Insurance Agents! 

The sales potential will be limitless!   

We’re looking for GO-GETTER personalities who aren’t afraid to talk to customers and be comfortable in a sales setting.  As an insurance agent, you must be an attentive listener with strong communication skills who can identify and explain ideal insurance policies to existing and prospective clients. Must be ambitious, professional, and be eager to start a career with great growth opportunities!

Responsibilities

• Meet with new, existing, and prospective customers and actively listen to their needs to properly assess their circumstances and financial statuses before proposing ideal plan options
• Help existing, new, and prospective clients fulfill insurance policy requirements by ensuring the completion of necessary forms and examining physical properties prior to or during the insurance claims process
• Execute effective sales-based marketing strategies like prospecting, cold calling, networking, and more to gain new clients
• Remain educated on property and casualty insurance policies, insurance agent regulations, insurance claims, and other industry rules to successfully match prospective, existing, and new clients with the best insurance plans
• Track and share progress toward monthly quotas by consistently updating bookkeeping systems, sales databases, and customer records

Requirements

• P&C insurance license REQUIRED
• Life insurance preferred but not required
• Strong sales background
• Fundamental computer and Microsoft Office program skills are essential
• Excellent analytical, customer service, and communication skills are required
• Proficiency using sales and accounting software is beneficial
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma/GED or equivalent required
• Professional appearance and attitude

Compensation

Base + commission!
