Brown Enterprise Solutions Inc. (BES), is a privately held company that sells computer technology products and provides technology consulting services in a SMB market place (small/medium businesses, county/city government agencies, collegiate, and K-12 schools). BES is seeking an IT Technician who will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing hardware and software components for the organization’s computers, as well as installation for some customers. This individual must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks, and operating systems. The ideal candidate will also have great troubleshooting abilities. This role requires significant interaction over the telephone and via email, so willingness to work in an office environment is a must.

Mandatory Requirements:

Microsoft Office365

Computer Networking & Trouble Shooting Experience

HTML/ CXML/ IIS/ FTP, etc Experience

Web Development Experience

MS Azure , MS Operating Systems (desktop and server)

Certifications as IT Technician and/or other technology certifications

Must have troubleshooting experience to diagnose and resolve problems

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Must have a solid understanding of various computer systems and networks.

* Must have the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.

* Must be detail oriented: quality and precision-focused, must have strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Willingness to gain additional required technology certifications is a must.

* Maintaining networks in ways that optimize performance.

* Ensuring security and privacy of networks and computer systems.

* Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems.

* Maintaining logs, maintenance schedules, and task list.

* Assist with inner office projects as needed - must have a team-oriented mindset and strong interpersonal skills.

* Must be clean cut and have reliable transportation

Salary will be based upon candidate experience.
