Responsibilities
  • Clinical inventory management
  • Prepare patients for treatment ensuring their comfort
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
  • Support sterilization
  • Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
  • Lab case management
  • Training and mentoring assistants
  • Keep ops clean and well-stocked
  • Schedule appointments
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with treatment presentation
Skills
  • Proven experience as dental assistant
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Competence with Dentrix (will train
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Well-organized and reliable
  • Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Experience:
  • Dental assisting: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
  • X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
