Help our construction team with building various types of projects in the Buffalo Ny area. Construction Manager/General contractor with a focus on many types of commercial, industrial and high end residential work allows the ability to work on multiple projects and experience many different types of projects.

Your role as Senior Construction Estimator

• Review plans and specification on potential projects and solicit subcontractor bids, performs take offs as needed and put together project estimates for various projects assigned to estimator.
• Work with Clients and Architects to review goals of the project to prepare an accurate estimate and determine areas of concern or areas the allow VE options.
• Work with subcontractors and material suppliers that are bidding projects to confirm accuracy of quotes
• Compose and provide proposal and bid forms for submission as needed
• Follow up on old proposal submissions

Qualifications

• Direct experience in a Construction Management/ General Contracting environment preferably in a estimating role
• Strong computer and communications skills. Experience in Outlook, Word, Excel and Project
• Strong experience in reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
• Willingness to adapt and pivot as needed to meet time constraints of projects/ bids
• Ability to work and delegate work to other as needed to meet time constraints
• Strong ability to multi task on work on multiple projects at one time
