Position Overview:

As a Journeyman Electrician specializing in highway construction, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of various electrical systems, including street lights, traffic lights, and highway lighting. Working closely with our team of experienced electricians and project managers, you will contribute to the successful completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.

Note: Some projects may be subject to prevailing wage requirements. For example, in one certain county in Delaware, the prevailing wage rate exceeds $60 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems for highway construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Perform regular inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements:

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license in Delaware.
• Proven experience in highway construction projects, including installation of street lights, traffic lights, and highway lighting.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate professionally with colleagues and clients.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Willingness to travel within Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania as project demands require.
