Summary:

Marcum Search is partnered with our growing law firm client in the search for an Accounts Payable Analyst. We are seeking a highly qualified AP Analyst with 5+ years in legal accounting experience. The ideal candidate will have full-cycle accounts payable experience and be proficient in managing the end-to-end AP process. This role works in a hybrid setting with 1 day/week in office and is local to the Central Los Angeles area. Salary range can secure between $70K-$77K.

Only applicants with law firm experience will be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle accounts payable process, including invoice receipt, verification, and processing.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain AP reports, including accruals and aging reports.
• Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Utilize accounting software to manage and track AP transactions, if applicable.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
• Analyze and improve AP processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in legal accounting or a similar role.
• Demonstrated expertise in full-cycle accounts payable.
• Proficiency in accounting software is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
