Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Greenville South Carolina. This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Location: Greenville SC 29609
Job Type: 4 Months - W2 contract - with possible extension
Schedule: Monday-Friday 08:30 AM-12:30 PM
Pay Range: $18-$20 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring quality blood samples are drawn and prepared for lab testing.
- Conducts procedures skillfully, safely, and accurately, fostering trust and confidence in patients.
- Provides coverage at various locations and fulfills multiple roles as needed.
- Ensures daily activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Demonstrates leadership behaviors and focuses on process excellence.
- Maintains confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
- May work in doctor's offices, patient service centers, house calls, long-term care, or other settings.
- May lead and mentor other Phlebotomists on-site.
- Provides effective onboarding for new employees and clients.
- Acts as a point of contact for on-site staff and offers regular input to supervisors.
- Handles customers with high complexity or volume practices, requiring exceptional phlebotomy and communication skills.
- Collaborates with various functions such as Sales, IT, Billing, and Logistics to meet specialized needs.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
Qualifications / Work Experience:
- Three years of Phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
