Status: Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY: Receptionist - Imaging FT seeking a receptionist who will provide excellent service to patients and referring physicians. This person will process patients efficiently to facilitate a timely workflow. They will also exercise professional judgment in performance of services in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Location: 9680 Golf Road, Des Plaines IL- 60707

Qualifications: We are looking for a hard worker with strong customer service and multi-tasking skills in a busy office setting, for our Imaging Center.

• Must have a great desire to provide patients and medical staff with the highest level of customer service.
• Computer knowledge and experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual, Spanish speaking preferred.

Description:

• Answer and direct calls
• Greet patients
• Schedule appointments
• Check patients in and out
• Collect payments
• Must have great multi-tasking skills and customer service

Hours:

• Full time
• 40 hours / week
• Monday - Friday
• Occasional Saturdays

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify insurance and referral/script information. Enter all updated insurance and billing info into RIS
• Collect co-payments and other payments for services
• Balance cash and credit card receipts, and prepare bank deposits
• Cancel/reschedule appointments as necessary
• Greet patients, register and process related paperwork
• Help to maintain patient satisfaction

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
• Previous medical office experience, knowledge of medical terminology – Preferred / Not required
• Basic computer and data entry experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
