Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting our front desk operations, assisting our nurse practitioner, and collaborating with our rehabilitation team to provide the highest level of care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for holistic and integrative medicine and a commitment to patient empowerment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a nurse practitioner.
• Perform administrative duties including scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes.
• Facilitate patient preparation for treatment and assist with physical therapy and rehabilitation sessions.
• Provide information to patients by answering questions and requests under the supervision of medical staff.
• Enhance practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Proven experience in a medical front office setting.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A strong alignment with our core values of holistic rehabilitation and empowered patient care.
