Responsibilities:

• Perform and/or oversee a variety of field activities, such as collecting samples, preparing field boring logs, staking boring locations, and testing field electrical resistivity
• Design, communicate, and direct plans for projects with field and laboratory staff
• Develop engineering recommendations
• Prepare engineering reports, foundation design calculations, analyses, and plans under the supervision of a licensed professional engineer
• Communicate with clients regarding the status of projects, results of field and laboratory testing, and engineering recommendations

Requirements:

• BS in civil engineering (MS preferred)
• Zero to five years of geotechnical engineering consulting experience
• Alabama Engineer-in-Training certificate
• Good driving record
