Job Responsibilities:

We are currently interviewing for both full-time and part-time positions as we continue to grow. Work alongside other career-minded early childhood professionals educating our youngest learners. We believe the first five years of childhood are the most important in development and learning thus children have the right to be recognized as constructors of their own experiences. Our preschool and pre-kindergarten curriculum are designed to help children reach their fullest potential while enjoying themselves in a warm, friendly atmosphere.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 64 college credits of which 21 are in ECE and at least 3 in leadership or management.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or similar disciplines; or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or working toward this.
• Gateways director credentials.
• Minimum 2 years in a management position.
• Candidates must have knowledge, understanding and practical experience working with the youngest children. 2 years minimum of childcare/teaching experience required.
• Certificate showing completion of Mandated Reporter Training.
• First Aid, CPR and Heimlich Maneuver certified.
• Personal qualifications: Licensing Standards for Day Care Centers, emotional maturity, willingness to cooperate with the aims of the program, respect for children and adults, flexibility, patience, good personal hygiene, and physical and mental health which does not interfere with responsibilities.
• Experience with the Head Start program a plus!

Pay: $17 - $19 per hour, opportunities for additional bonuses
