TITLE: Business Development Representative
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Ability to meet and exceed performance plan by promoting new credit union membership, loan products, payroll direct deposit, and more, while managing existing member accounts. Enthusiastically promotes the credit union’s competitive line of products and services while embracing and supporting the relationship between our credit union and the sponsoring grocery companies we serve. Spends approximately 90% of their time in the field visiting grocery stores and distribution centers, selling new memberships and cross-selling products and services to existing and potential members, and their families.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to function with minimal supervision, and organize site visits. Knowledge in all aspects of credit union products, services, policies and procedures is extremely beneficial. Must have highly developed and effective organizational, communication and sales skills, be self-motivated, with a positive “can do” attitude. Must be fluent in both English and Spanish. Experience in a financial institution helpful, with previous sales position preferred.
SALARY RANGE: $40,000-$55,000 plus incentives ranging between $25,000-$50,000 per year depending on amount of effort and time invested. Flexible schedule. Requires driving, with mileage reimbursement. Looking for multiple representatives in different Northern/Central California geographies.
