Catalyst Air Management (CAM) is seeking entry-level and experienced technicians to perform air emissions testing (stack testing). With extensive on-the-job training, the individual will learn to perform on-stack testing at utility and industrial client facilities. Job duties include driving company vehicles (and pulling a trailer), cleaning and preparing glassware and other equipment for use in testing, setting-up equipment at facilities on test platforms, recording field data according to EPA test methods, and performing quality assurance checks and calibrations on equipment. After on-stack proficiency is accomplished, additional duties will be assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, pass a background check and maintain an acceptable driving record, driver's license, and follow all safety regulations and procedures.

· Applicants subject to drug testing at hire and randomly during employment.

• Applicants must pass DOT physical at hire and every two years during employment.

• Applicant must not have any issues working at heights and have the ability to climb ladders.

• Applicant must pass a respirator physical and fit test at hire and annually thereafter.

• Applicant must have the ability to routinely lift up to 75 pounds.

• Applicant must be able and willing to work outside in all climates.

• Applicant must have good oral and written communication skills. Ability to interface with clients, government agency personnel and vendors, and work cooperatively in a team.

• Applicant must have some mechanical ability.

• Applicant must be able and willing to travel weekly with occasional weekends involved.
