JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: Parks and Recreation Maintenance Technician

REPORTS TO: Parks Manager

FLSA: Non-exempt

JOB SUMMARY:

The Parks and Recreation Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the care and maintenance of the common green areas within the covenant at the Rancho Santa Fe.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• General debris clean-up
• Maintenance of landscape areas
• Attend to details of roadside conditioning
• Irrigation practices
• Application of fertilizer
• Maintain equipment and transportation vehicles in a clean and organized manner
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Landscaping experience preferred.
• Flexible Work Schedule

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Frequent or occasional need to perform the following physical activities: grasping, finger dexterity, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting. Lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds
• Standing and walking on various surfaces for an extended period of time
