RMA Technician Tier II

Key Responsibilities:

·          Perform RMA troubleshooting and investigation of root cause

·          Assist in the development process of new products

·          Test, tune, align, troubleshoot, and repair production hardware

·          Inspects components to ensure they meet Quality Assurance (QA) standards and product specifications

·          Ensures top Level product specifications are accurate

·          Reviews circuit level component specs. and parts lists when new orders are received

·          Interfaces with assemblers regarding parts availability

·          Sets up test stations and writes test procedures

·          Typically identifies problems restricting manufacturing throughput and recommends solutions

·          Above average productivity and ability to work on complex products

·          May interact with vendors/customers

Requirements:

·          Associate’s degree in engineering or mechanic’s school

·          Ability to troubleshoot equipment using easy-to-follow instructions and layman’s terms

·          Excellent phone etiquette and ability to build rapport with customers over the phone

·          Ability to lift 80lbs
