Job Description

We are seeking a Pre Op PACU RN to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer nursing care to preoperative/postoperative patients.
  • Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
  • Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
  • Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
  • Educate patients about pre and postoperative teaching
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
  • Maintain accurate patient medical records
  • Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

Qualifications:

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida
  • BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred
  • Previous experience in preoperative and postoperative nursing
  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Riverwalk Ambulatory Surgery Center is a three operating room, AAAHC accredited outpatient surgical center, seeking an experienced Clerical Assistant on a Part Time basis. Reporting to the Business Office Manager, the preferred candidate will be experienced as Clerical Assistant with an aptitude for a fast-paced environment. Medical experience is highly recommended. RASC performs over 4,000 cases annually, so if you know outpatient surgery, you know we're moving at a fast pace. The staff you will work with is experienced and poised for growth and professional development.
