Azure DevOps (ADO)-IT Project Manager-Houston, TX

Are you an experienced IT Project Manager looking for an exciting opportunity in Houston, Texas? Look no further! iSphere is seeking a talented individual to join our team for a 12+ month opportunity and provide overall project management support to enhance project execution.
As the Azure DevOps (ADO)-IT Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with the Program Owner and Workstream Leads to ensure the successful delivery of projects. You will be responsible for following the established PMO processes and playbook, ensuring that the project team adheres to the defined ways of working.
In this role, you will be the driving force behind project meetings, including Daily Standups, Weekly meetings, and SteerCo sessions. Your ability to follow up on key action items and bring them to closure will be essential in keeping the project on track. Additionally, you will be responsible for generating and communicating project updates both internally and externally as required.
Your expertise in Azure DevOps (ADO) will be put to use as you maintain the team's plan in this platform. You will also be responsible for capturing comprehensive meeting notes, highlighting key discussions, and documenting action items.
As an energetic and driven individual, you will promptly escalate any issues and critical risks to program leadership and maintain a RAID log. You will ensure that key dependencies and decisions are effectively communicated to the Project Team, enabling seamless collaboration and progress.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of Project Management Experience
- PMP certified (hard requirement, no exceptions)
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
In addition to the technical qualifications, we are looking for someone who possesses a sense of ownership and urgency around critical path tasks/activities. As a strong communicator, you should be comfortable interacting with medium to large teams.
