Black Optical looking for a high-energy, innovative, and caring Optometrist with a passion for delivering vision care in a collaborative environment. Our Ideal candidate is a team player who strives to deliver a 5 star experience and relishes in the success of his patients and the team.

What you'll do:

• - Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity in accordance with Black Optical's protocol and standards of care
• - Ensure accuracy in taking measurements and diagnosing treating various ocular conditions
• - Prescribe and fit corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses, based on patient needs
• - Educate and explain eye health, eyewear and prescription terminology to patient, including the use of contact lenses and eyeglasses
• - Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient examinations and treatments
• - Act as a representative of our brand and stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry through continuing education and professional development

Who you are:

• - Strong knowledge of ocular anatomy, physiology, and pathology
• - Proficiency in medical coding and billing procedures
• - Excellent sales skills to effectively communicate with patients about eyewear options
• - Familiarity with aseptic techniques for maintaining a sterile environment during procedures
• - Ability to navigate electronic medical records systems efficiently
• - Knowledge of ophthalmology equipment and diagnostic tools
• - Experience in providing care for senior patients
• - Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
• - Exceptional patient care skills to provide a comfortable and positive experience for patients
