Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Internal Operations Manager to oversee our partnership with our external 3PL (third-party logistics) warehouse operations. This role is critical in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain and logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• 3PL Warehouse Management:

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day operations relating to the external 3PL warehouse.

  • Coordinate with 3PL partners to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, inventory management, and both inbound and outbound shipping and receiving.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with 3PL providers to optimize performance and resolve any operational issues.

• Inventory Control:

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishments to maintain optimal stock levels.

  • Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure accurate record-keeping.

  • Implement inventory control processes to minimize discrepancies and losses.

• Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline workflows and improve order processing times.

  • Develop and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for warehouse operations.

• Performance Monitoring:

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations.

  • Generate regular reports on warehouse performance and provide insights to senior management.

  • Set and achieve performance targets in collaboration with 3PL partners.

• Cost Management:

  • Monitor and manage operational costs related to the 3PL warehouse.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce expenses without compromising service quality.

• Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment within the warehouse.

  • Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations.

• Proven experience managing 3PL relationships and optimizing warehouse performance.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Must be detail oriented as will be working with SKUs and UPC codes

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
