LPN/RN Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect, track, and maintain patient history; record any new data within EMR
- Take vitals, administer hearing and vision screens
- Administer medication, including childhood vaccinations, allergy injections
- Supervise nurse assistants and/or students and provide them with appropriate tasks
- Manage and assist front desk personnel duties
- Take instruction from and report updates to APRN/overseeing physician
- Ensure rooms are kept clean and sterile
- Follow state and federal mandated standards and procedures
LPN/RN Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Completed state-approved LPN/RN education program; current LPN/RN license to practice
- Valid CPR certification
- Previous clinical and/or healthcare experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite; adept at data entry
- Understanding of healthcare state standards and procedures
- High level of patience, empathy and compassion
- Excellent observation skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
