LPN/RN Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect, track, and maintain patient history; record any new data within EMR
• Take vitals, administer hearing and vision screens
• Administer medication, including childhood vaccinations, allergy injections
• Supervise nurse assistants and/or students and provide them with appropriate tasks
• Manage and assist front desk personnel duties
• Take instruction from and report updates to APRN/overseeing physician
• Ensure rooms are kept clean and sterile
• Follow state and federal mandated standards and procedures

LPN/RN Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Completed state-approved LPN/RN education program; current LPN/RN license to practice
• Valid CPR certification
• Previous clinical and/or healthcare experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite; adept at data entry
• Understanding of healthcare state standards and procedures
• High level of patience, empathy and compassion
• Excellent observation skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
