This is an opportunity to jump into a diverse role with a publicly traded medical device manufacturer. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the organization's financial records and SOX compliance, as well as assisting with inventory management. What You'll Actually Do:

• Oversee the SOX compliance functions and work closely with the accounting team and internal and external audit firms
• Create, develop, and maintain internal controls and processes 
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations to ensure all transactions follow US GAAP guidelines, including preparation of journal entries
• Prepare monthly financial statements to include variance analysis 
• Support internal and external audit teams by providing relevant data and documentation
• Proactively identify areas for process improvement, develop solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to implement changes that drive efficiency

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance – CPA a plus
• 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience 
• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Willingness to jump in and learn
• Public accounting experience is a plus 
• Experience with SOX Compliance is strongly preferred
• Strong communication and a high level of intellectual curiosity 

Where and How Much:

• Target Compensation up to 95K DOE + 10% Bonus
• In office – Englewood
