We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of simple to complex Business and Individual Tax Returns
• Preparation of Trust, Non-Profit, Gift tax returns
• Preparation of annual tax planning and consultations with clients
• Assisting clients with business structure and the formation of new entities
• Preparation of Florida sales and use tax requirements and reporting
• Preparation of State and Federal payroll tax returns and annual tax filings, including notice resolution
• Must be able to work independently and manage their own projects
• Must have great communication skills with the team and managing the client base
• Ability to research tax topics to answer tax questions and provide guidance
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks online, to review accounting records and provide support to clients
• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports in various Accounting Software Programs

​Qualifications:

• Ability to work efficiently in a remote environment
• 5+ years experience in taxation
• CPA License or EA License is not required, but would be preferred
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools - Thomson Reuters Ultra Tax and Onvio, QuickBooks
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
