We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be reliable, compassionate, and driven to deliver the following high-quality care to our patients. 

Responsibilities: 

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures 

• Handle and restrain animals safely and humanely 

• Administer medications, vaccines, and other treatments as directed 

• Perform laboratory tests and radiographs 

• Monitor and care for hospitalized animals 

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records 

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, including educating them on pet care 

• Clean and maintain examination rooms, equipment, and the facility 

• Perform other duties as assigned 

Qualifications: 

• Completion of a veterinary assistant or technician program preferred 

• Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) is a plus 

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital 

• Strong knowledge of animal handling and care techniques 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Compassionate attitude towards animals, their owners, and co-workers 

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 

• Ability to lift and carry animals and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
