Staff Physician
Redwood Valley, California
Are you looking for a new career opportunity while giving back to the local community? If so, we have the perfect opening now for a Staff Physician. Our Non-Profit client is adding to their growing Provider team. This position will provide direct patient care, family practice primary preventative and acute to families within the community.
**Sign-on-bonus through the Provider Recruitment Program (PRP) administered by Partnership Health Plan of CA. Program incentives available for provider candidates (payable over five years)
$100,000 for physicians providing services in family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics, and psychiatry (selected candidate must meet ALL terms outlined in Partnership's PRP grant agreement)**
Salary range is $235,000 - $285,000 (Depending on Qualifications) - Relocation assistance is offered (maximum $1,500.00)
General Job Duties:
- Direct patient care for family practice or pediatrics, primary care, preventive and primary acute, and chronic care
- Provide on-site day to day clinical supervision of family practice nurse practitioner and/or PA and medical support staff
- Assist in the development, review and update the Medical Clinic policies, procedures and protocols
General Job Requirements:
- Medical degree or Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine
- Board certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
- Valid California Medical Licensure(s)
- Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) certificate
- One (1) year experience in providing general medical care in a family care setting
- Experience in community clinic preferred and a strong commitment to multi-disciplinary teamwork
