Novarad is looking for an experience and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to help design, develop, implement and execute the manufacturing of medical supplies at Novarad. The Manufacturing Engineer is also responsible for managing daily production operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, meeting production targets, and driving continuous improvements in efficiency, safety, and quality. The ideal candidate will focus on improving efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

As the Production Manager at Novarad, you will have the opportunity to:
- Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in production operations.
- Perform the daily production activities related to medical supplies, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to production schedules.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement production schedules, workflows, and procedures to meet output goals while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure optimal efficiency, troubleshooting and resolving production issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with other departments concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by utilizing process optimization methodologies.
- Monitor and control production costs, materials, and resources to stay within budget while meeting production targets.
- Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and equipment validation reports. Maintain accurate production records and reports, analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to minimize equipment downtime and ensure smooth production flow.
- Support new product introductions and scale-up activities, collaborating with R&D and other departments to ensure seamless transitions.
Requirements
Required Knowledge and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a regulated industry (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and GMP standards.
- Hands-on experience with process optimization, automation, and manufacturing technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. A degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration is also acceptable with relevant experience.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed primarily in a clean room with strict hygiene and contamination control protocols.
- Significant time is spent within with office and administrative environments for meetings and reporting.
- The role involves exposure to production machinery, equipment, and occasional noise.
- Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gowns, gloves, hairnets, and masks, when working in regulated areas.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, frequently moving between production areas.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Frequent use of hands and arms to operate production equipment, tools, and controls.
- Good manual dexterity required for handling small parts and equipment components.
- Visual acuity to inspect products and read equipment monitors.
- Bending, reaching, and crouching as needed
