Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Associate/Senior Associate, Finance to join our growing team. This role will report to our VP of Finance and support both acquisitions/development underwriting and asset management functions. You will play a key role in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and enhancing our financial operations. Seeking Tri-State area candidate, preferably New York. Some travel required.
Asset Management:
- Perform analytical duties related to our portfolio of senior living assets.
- Prepare property budgets, forecasts, and KPI analysis.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support asset management decisions.
- Participate in monthly and quarterly performance review meetings with stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of investor reports and presentations.
- Identify value enhancement opportunities and support overall portfolio management.
- Prepare and submit periodic reporting requirements.
Acquisitions/Development Underwriting:
- Perform cash flow and valuation analysis for potential acquisition and developments opportunities.
- Conduct market research, compile operational performance data, and perform comparable sales analysis.
- Support project due diligence processes and create financial models for various capital structures.
- Participate in deal calls with equity and development partners.
- Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and track market trends and emerging opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-6 years of experience in FP&A, consulting, investment banking, corporate banking, real estate finance, or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Suite.
- Yardi experience preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of real estate finance, financial statements, underwriting, and forecasting.
- Proactive, self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: $70,000 - $110,000
