Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Associate to join our team Investor Services team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in investor services, with a strong background in investor reporting, accounting, and compliance. This role involves managing various aspects of investor relations, including onboarding and redemptions, capital calls, distributions, tax reporting, and AML/KYC compliance. The Senior Associate will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our investors while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Investor Reporting & Accounting: Assist in preparing and distributing investor reports, including financial statements, performance summaries, and other relevant materials. Ensure accurate and timely accounting of investor transactions and balances.
- Onboarding & Redemptions: Manage the investor onboarding process, including the collection and review of necessary documentation, AML/KYC checks, and the setup of investor accounts. Handle redemption requests, ensuring that all processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Capital Calls & Distributions: Coordinate and assist with capital calls and distributions, including the preparation of notices, calculation of amounts, and communication with investors. Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with fund documents.
- Tax Reporting: Assist in the preparation and distribution of K-1 forms and other tax-related documentation to investors. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
- AML/KYC Compliance: Conduct Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) checks on new and existing investors. Ensure all documentation is collected, reviewed, and maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Custodian Coordination: Liaise with custodians to ensure the accurate and timely processing of investor transactions, including subscriptions, redemptions, and distributions. Resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise.
- Investor Communication: Serve as a point of contact for investors, responding to inquiries and providing updates on their investments. Ensure all communications are professional, accurate, and timely.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of investor services processes. Recommend and implement improvements to systems, workflows, and procedures.
- Investor Portal: Manage the investor portal to ensure accurate and organized information is presented. Develop and initiate plans to increase adoption and utilization with investors. Recommend updates or enhancements that are needed.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in investor services.
Skills and Competencies:
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of fund accounting principles and investor reporting requirements.
- Experience with AML/KYC compliance and onboarding processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting and investor reporting software.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with investors, custodians, and internal teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to tolerate prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing at desk.
- Must be able to operate a computer, telephone, and/or keyboard and tolerate prolonged periods performing work using a computer, telephone, and/or keyboard.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
