In this role, you will be uniquely able to significantly impact a critical project for a federal agency regulating securities-based swaps. Your expertise in data engineering, combined with your experience working with AWS Glue, Python, and Apache Spark, will be instrumental in transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that will shape the future of financial regulation. As a critical member of our dynamic, high-performing team, you will maintain and optimize data workflows, ensure data quality and integrity, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that address the agency's most pressing challenges.

• Five years of data engineering experience
• Solid experience working with AWS Glue, Python, and CloudFormation in a professional environment
• Strong expertise in relevant AWS Cloud services (such as S3, EC2, IAM, RDS, and Lambda) and understanding of cloud architecture
• Proven expertise in writing, optimizing, and debugging complex ETL jobs
• Proficient in scripting languages like Python and knowledge of SQL
• Familiarity with data modeling and understanding of different data structures
• Understanding of log monitoring and analytics
• Experience meeting both technical and consumer needs
• Experience testing software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Knowledge of index migrations, debugging, and researching concepts is a major plus
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and experience using GitHub or GitLab for creating required pipelines for CI/CD
