JOB SUMMARY
This position manages the fiscal operations of the City of Conroe, including the Accounting, Budget/Investment and Utility Billing divisions. This position also performs several fiscal operations of the City, including long-term forecasting, investment management, cash and debt management, debt compliance, special analyses and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, accounting or finance required. Four years of experience in a similar position in a municipal or other governmental finance department.
Special Requirements:
Certified Public Accountant preferred. Master's degree in accounting, finance, business or public administration preferred. Certified Government Finance Officer preferred. Possession of a valid class "C" Texas driver's license required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The work is sedentary and requires the ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required: fingering, handling, hearing, lifting, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motions, speaking, talking, visual acuity and walking.
