Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Vision and Strategy:
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for banking technology solutions that align with the company's overall goals and customer needs.
- Define and maintain the product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives based on business objectives, market trends, and technical feasibility.
2. Technical Expertise:
- Possess a deep understanding of banking technology, including core banking systems, digital banking platforms, payment systems, and cybersecurity.
- Work closely with engineering
3. Requirement Gathering and Documentation:
- Gather and document detailed product requirements from various stakeholders, including customers, regulatory bodies, sales teams, and internal departments.
- Translate business requirements into tech
4. Project Management:
- Oversee the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely and high quality delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, compliance, and sales, to ensure alignment and successful execution.
5. User Experience and Design:
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the product delivers a seamless and intuitive user experience tailored to banking customers.
- Incorporate user feedback and usability testing results into product improvements.
6. Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
- Present product updates, progress, and future plans to senior management, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
7. Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
- Continuously gather and analyze user feedback, usage data, and other metrics to optimize the product.
8. Problem-Solving and Innovation:
- Identify and resolve technical and product-related issues that arise during development and after launch.
- Drive innovation by exploring new technologies, tools, and methodologies that can enhance the product and improve banking operations.
9. People Management:
- Lead and manage a team of Business Analyst and other relevant staff, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, ensuring effective communication and coordination among team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and support career growth for team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a strong understanding of banking technology and financial services.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex software products in the banking or financial sector.
- Strong technical background with knowledge of software development processes, banking systems, and cybersecurity.
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and customer engagement in the banking sector.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
