As an Accounting Supervisor, you will contribute to the company’s continued success by working with and supervising our accounting team to ensure that financial information is reported and analyzed in a timely fashion to upper management.

The Accounting Supervisor's responsibilities include performing or supervising the following:

• Ensure accurate classification of transactions in the general ledger
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations (general ledger, A/R, A/P, inventory, job cost)
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and perform analytical reviews
• Prepare and review reconciliations of various general ledger accounts promptly
• Assist in annual pre-qualification applications
• Handle monthly and quarterly tax reporting (sales/use tax, fuel tax)
• Support management with recurring and ad hoc analyses
• Research and resolve financial transaction queries from management
• Provide leadership during company audits

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years relevant accounting experience
• Proficiency in monthly account reconciliations
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with annual external audits
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
• Capacity to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks efficiently
