Responsible for providing support for applications that are clinically focused as well as serving as the liaison between IS, the clinical departments, and the physicians.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with installing clinical application upgrades and enhancements through collaborations with internal departments and external vendors, developing conversion plans for system changes, including communication and maintenance testing.
• Provide consultation on process analysis and design.
• Assist with user training.
• Create documentation for training, maintenance and support, including problem resolution and escalation decision trees.
• Assist with development of plans and materials for employee education, including the evaluation of training effectiveness.
• Collaborate with IS staff and users to develop test plans, including integration and user acceptance testing.

Required Experience:

• Registered Nurse in the State of IL
• Experience within Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office tools
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Ability to support Cerner EMR
• Ability and willingness to learn new tools and Healthcare Information Systems (HIS)
