Development Engineer 3
We have an exciting opportunity for a Development Engineer 3 with the top leading multimedia and creative software company in the world.
Responsibilities:
- Work with multiple teams to design, deploy, and support large scale clustered software platforms in multiple datacenters and public clouds around the world
- Integrate diverse technologies in multiple environments to provide monitoring, alerting, and reporting of performance and costs
- Work in an agile operations framework, balancing sprint-based work with daily operational needs
- Troubleshoot and resolve system outages or performance impact and communicate findings for ongoing improvement
- Work with third-party hardware and software vendors to recommend solutions and drive performance/cost efficiency
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
Skills and Experience:
- BA/BS Degree in related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience.
- Experience in public cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS preferred)
- Experience operating secrets management tools (HashiCorp Vault preferred)
- Experience using orchestration, automation and configuration management solutions (Jenkins/Terraform/SaltStack/Rundeck preferred)
- Experience deploying a modern monitoring stack (Prometheus/Grafana preferred)
- Experience maintaining DNS infrastructure (bind preferred)
- Ability to recommend, design, build, and support complicated solutions at scale
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols and related technologies
- Knowledge of software version control systems and release management (Git preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Knowledge of Security Groups and Policies, API Gateways, and Security Governance on AWS/Azure.
Compensation:
- Up to $63.38 per hour.
