Assurance Manager at Recruitment Room

Position:
We are seeking an Assurance Manager to join our team in Baltimore. This is a hybrid role, involving both remote and office work.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the engagement lead for specific client accounts, overseeing pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables.
- Develop detailed engagement work plans, including budgets and schedules.
- Build a thorough understanding of audits, tax, and consulting services provided by the firm, and actively participate in proposals.
- Manage a team of staff associates, providing performance coaching and feedback.
- Maintain effective client management, communication, and leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting
- CPA designation required
- 4+ years' experience in a public accounting firm
- Experience in Affordable Housing or Real Estate industry
- Knowledge of audit software such as ProSystem Fx is a plus
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation skills
