Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: CST Remote US

Summary: The DevOps Engineer is responsible for maintaining and creating CI/CD pipelines, contributing to various automation-related projects, along with provisioning and maintaining cloud-based resources in a Microsoft Azure environment.
Essential Functions:
- Work with development teams to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps Pipelines for home-grown applications
- Assist in the maintenance of a PCI DSS Compliant Card Data Environment
- Deploy and manage resources in Azure via ARM or Bicep templates
- Write and maintain Python automation scripts for execution in Azure Functions, Automation, or similar services
- Document solutions in Markdown, manage solutions via Git
- Work with the development team and business stakeholders to identify and maintain effective monitoring and alerting strategies for internal applications.
- Perform peer reviews of automation scripts for other team members
- Assist in creating a new managed Kubernetes strategy
- Assist in cloud-based identity management implementation
- Attends and participates in job related classes and webinars
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures including safety standards
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of experience in CI/CD via Azure DevOps
- Minimum 1 year of experience of infrastructure-as-code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
- 2 or more years of experience working with Microsoft Azure including:
- Networking: V-nets, NSGs, Virtual Network Gateways
- Storage accounts: Azure File Shares, Blob Storage
- Serverless: Azure Function Apps, Logic Apps
- Virtual Machines: Windows Server, Ubuntu
- Key Vault
- Azure Active Directory AD
- Log Analytics/Monitoring & KQL queries
- Experience working with Kanban-based workflow
- Strong experience and comfort in Python & Bash scripting, PowerShell experience is a bonus
- Strong knowledge of source control via git and code management principals
- Experience with working within compliance environments such as PCI Compliance or roughly equivalent (HIPPA, SOC2, ISO27001)
- Basic to advanced understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
- Basic to advanced understanding of role-based identity management concepts
- Motivated & self-starting; eager to learn new technologies
