Job Description:
Test Automation Engineer is responsible for building automation test scripts using Playwright, Python, Pytest and Aqua.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work independently using written documentation and interactions with others across departments to complete work, which includes creating one or more test scripts per week.
- Meet with key individuals on the product, operation and QA teams to gather requirements and review development progress.
- Meet with key stakeholders to demonstrate completed test script’s functionality.
- Once scripts are approved, be able to commit/push/pull and request the source code into Certifi’s BitBucket environment.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Solid understanding of creating test scripts.
- Ability to fix issues and provide operational support to keep scripts running.
- Be available to resolve issues promptly which are preventing tests from being completed.
- Responsible for keeping the Aqua, python and playwright code up to date.
- Problem solving, ability to review and identify issues, mitigate risks, prioritize your work load and work on ad hoc projects as assigned
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school/GED is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- 2+ years of Python experience is required.
- 1+ year of Pytest, Playwright and/or SQL experience is preferred.
- Microsoft Excel: Design macros, developing and producing reports
Work Location/Schedule: On site in Minneapolis-based office. Monday-Friday day shift
