Job Description:

 Test Automation Engineer is responsible for building automation test scripts using Playwright, Python, Pytest and Aqua. 

Primary Responsibilities:

•  Work independently using written documentation and interactions with others across departments to complete work, which includes creating one or more test scripts per week. 
•  Meet with key individuals on the product, operation and QA teams to gather requirements and review development progress.
•  Meet with key stakeholders to demonstrate completed test script’s functionality.
•  Once scripts are approved, be able to commit/push/pull and request the source code into Certifi’s BitBucket environment.

Additional responsibilities include: 

• Solid understanding of creating test scripts.
• Ability to fix issues and provide operational support to keep scripts running.
• Be available to resolve issues promptly which are preventing tests from being completed.
• Responsible for keeping the Aqua, python and playwright code up to date.
• Problem solving, ability to review and identify issues, mitigate risks, prioritize your work load and work on ad hoc projects as assigned
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school/GED is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• 2+ years of Python experience is required.
• 1+ year of Pytest, Playwright and/or SQL experience is preferred.
• Microsoft Excel: Design macros, developing and producing reports

Work Location/Schedule:   On site in Minneapolis-based office.  Monday-Friday day shift
