Primary role

Plans replenishment requirements in accordance with branch needs and corporate policies.

Forms a replenishment plan to meet customer service and inventory control goals.

Specific duties:

All duties as outlined in the Planner section of specific duties and responsibilities.

Plus:

Complete proficiency training in D365Plan, replenish, and monitor inventory of assigned branches.

Study and understand working capital factors that a Planner can control.

Study and understand vendor ordering procedures.

Study and understand minimum orders, freight, and payment terms.

Study and understand the seasonal needs of Veseris products.

Question situations that fall out of the everyday norm of Planning.

Study and understand cost book maintenance.

Study and understand PO variance reconciliation.

Study and understand freight issues and policies.

Study and understand internal terms, TO, PO, VMR, etc.

Be a team player to cover for other Planners during PTO.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Plan for 5-8 branches with at least one major hub.

Manage Hub to Spoke and vendor ship to relationship in accordance with cost savings goals.

Meet or exceed Key Productivity Indicators: Forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory turns, cost savings.

Problem-solving:

Resolve issues with vendors and cross-functional teams

Understand and resolve issues with inventory movements from vendor and internal shipments.

Utilize critical assessment skills to validate market intelligence and make decisions aligned with supply chain management principles.

Sales and sales management

Vendor contac

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement planning and management

- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills

- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

- Strong project management skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software
