We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented professional to support our SAMHSA client.
Duties and responsibilities include:
The Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing AWS-based solutions networking and security solutions:
- A qualified candidate must have hands on implementation and development experience with the tools and technologies in this job description. Experience as an analyst or user is not sufficient.
- Hands on experience in network architecture, cloud, and security tools.
- Knowledge of Computer and Networks Security principles and procedures and technologies.
- Minimum 4 years of enterprise security architecture, security engineering, and system administration experience.
- Hands on experience in an AWS commercial cloud environment, and knowledge of relevant cloud security tools.
- Hands on development/technical experience with Okta, CyberArk, and at least one of the following: CrowdStrike, Tenable Nessus, and Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) are a must.
- Hands on experience in network architecture, cloud, and security tools.
- Knowledge of Computer and Networks Security principles and procedures and technologies.
- Proven experience providing technical solutions to address vulnerability findings and security gaps during the system development process.
- Ability to analyze environments and determine best security technology deployment strategy/method.
- Ability to respond to incidents when/if they occur.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of cloud security engineering experience within an AWS environment.
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
Desired Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional.
- AWS DevSecOps Engineer.
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate.
- AWS Security Specialty.
Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related field.
Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
