Cleared Software Engineer - Cloud Engineering

Bestgate Engineering has an opportunity for a Cloud Software Engineer working in the College Park, MD area. In this Software Engineering role focusing on AWS Architecture, your responsibilities will encompass developing data flow and analytic services using AWS Cloud Services. You'll work with Docker and the Spring/WebFlux framework, and employ Java, Maven, JFrog, and Neo4J technologies to address full-stack development challenges. Additionally, your role involves working with AWS automation and orchestration services to enhance system efficiency. The tech stack also includes Mockito and Junit components for testing, Kubernetes for container orchestration, Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation, and Python with Jupyter Notebook for advanced data analysis and scripting tasks.

Required: 

• Ten (10) or more years of experience as a Software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Experience with Java and Python programming languages. 
• Proficiency with AWS architecture and orchestration services.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field is preferred. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in engineering will be considered.
• Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly
