Realtor.com is a two-sided platform helping match the consumers on our site and apps to our paying customers. The Customer Data Science & Analytics team at Realtor.com provides trusted data and insights to optimize every aspect of our customer experience. This role will be a key contributor to our new strategic pricing function, focusing on optimizing pricing for our customer-facing products. This is a key role, reporting directly to the Director, Strategic Pricing. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in data science and advanced analytics to develop and implement sophisticated pricing models and strategies. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of statistical methods, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

What you'll do:

• Develop, validate, and maintain advanced pricing models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Analyze large datasets to identify pricing trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure the accuracy of pricing models.
• Conduct A/B testing and other experimental methods to evaluate pricing strategies.
• Communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders through clear, concise reports and presentations.
• Continuously monitor the performance of pricing models and adjust them as necessary to improve accuracy and effectiveness.

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field with 5+ years of experience; or a Master's Degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Proven experience in building and implementing pricing models using statistical and machine learning techniques. Preferred experience doing this in a B2B marketplace.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, as well as SQL.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization.
• Experience designing an executing A/B tests, ideally experience with experiments testing pricing models
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
