You will

  • Lead a team of analytics engineers to design, develop, and maintain data products to support modeling, analytical, and operation needs in deposit product in the company

  • Work closely with stakeholders, product, and business team to understand business problems, and explore/propose various data sources/solutions, and turn that into technical requirements, including developing prototyping to demonstrate the feasibility of data and analytics solutions

  • Understand and Identify server APIs that needs to be instrumented for data analytics and operations, and align events for execution in already established data pipelines and downstream operational systems

  • Set up data governance framework to manage data access, ownership, and quality across the organization

  • Optimize existing analytical data models, data pipelines, and data visualizations to ensure accurate and timely reporting and analytics

  • Build and manage a high performance analytics engineering team to ensure high-quality deliverables

  • Help set company-wide standards for data marts regarding structure, quality and expectations

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • 8+ years of experience as an analytics engineer, data engineers, data analysts/scientists or equivalent
    • 8+ years of designing and managing data models and production data pipelines
    • 5+ years of analytics/engineer team management
  • Skills and attitudes
    • Expert in SQL, git and a programming language (ie Python, Java, etc)
    • 5+ years of experience with Snowflake/Redshift and dbt
    • 5+ years of experience with CI/CD and DataOps best practices
    • 5+ years of experience in data product development and management
    • Creative, resourceful, and enthusiastic about seeking new solutions to problems and opportunities
  • Bonus Points:
    • 5+ years of experience in data product development in collection or credit risk area
    • 5+ years of experience in building data product for fintech companies
    • Experience with Airflow or other data pipeline orchestration tools
