Blue Rose is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support our work with a federal client in Fort Belvoir, VA. This is a Hybrid role and is open to U.S. Citizens ONLY.

Candidates must have Active Secret clearance.

In this role, you will:

• Deploy infrastructure and platform environments
• Create a proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security, and performance
• Deploy and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and services
• Deploy, configure, and operationalize resilient, highly available production grade containers using AWS EKS
• Develop IaC for cluster orchestration and application deployment using a variety of tools such as Ansible, Terraform
• Work with a variety of cloud native tools to add capabilities and secure the platform
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across all layers of the technology stack
• Design and build features for implementation in the production system and operational employment by our customer
• Proactively resolve technical hurdles and continue innovative efforts within SAFe development practices
• Collaborate and communicate with other team members to decompose large tasks into small testable tasks

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in cloud-based solutions and cloud CLIs
• Experience troubleshooting DNS, VPN, HTTPS, and networking configurations
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, security concepts, network, and system design
• Advanced experience in various technology areas including cloud and identity solutions
• Experience developing and deploying Infrastructure as Code solutions in a cloud environment
• Experience hardening and testing systems and applications
• Experience configuring physical/virtual networks (VLANs, VNIC, Switches, & other networking hardware)
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server file systems and operations
• Certified in one or more of top for CSP (AWS Preferred)
• DoD 8140 Baseline Certification (Security+, CASP, CISM, CISSP)
• Preferred experience in DoD Cloud environments

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher

Salary: $115,000 to $125,000, Dependent of Experience
