Job description
Company background
At Decisions Oriented, we strive to attract and retain top-talent team members by offering competitive salaries, innovative benefits, and a family first work environment. We want to enlist our team members in our vision and journey to create a company culture like no other that will foster an environment of support, giving, and service to one another.
Job Description:
Decisions Oriented seeks a full-time mid-level Software Engineer to be the Scrum Master and perform some development work in a small and exciting DoD emerging technology and enterprise transformation project. Does taking a new idea from concept to prototype in a quick development cycle appeal to your desire to create? Are you technically gifted, forward-leaning, and capable of thinking outside the box? If so, this is the opportunity you have always wished existed! Our small team is seeking a talented software engineer to do big things. If you consider yourself an innovator, you already have the right mentality to help us accomplish significant and meaningful achievements that will revolutionize how the DoD shares mission information. As a Software Engineer and Scrum Master, you will be responsible for driving work, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse engineering systems. You may be required to provide specific input as needed to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software modules. To be an effective team member, you must be capable of working independently when necessary, with strong communication skills, the ability to follow through, stay motivated, and collaborate with others to successfully complete all assignments.
